HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

About You: 
Ventia have been engaged by the Austin Hospital to provide integrated Facility Management services.

Join our team of trades as a Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Technician, where you will play a key role in managing operations, including planned, reactive, remedial, and ad-hoc maintenance across various sites.

We offer both Full Time and Casual positions, with work scheduled Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. The pay rate is competitive, ranging from $47.03 per hour for Full Time to $58.75 per hour for Casual, plus Superannuation.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high quality facility management and maintenance services
• Identify and rectify equipment and infrastructure faults in a time critical environment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
• Inspect and maintain refrigerators and chilled water supply systems as required
• Minor works including assembly, installation, testing, and maintain heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment and appliances

You will also possess:

• ARTIC licence, Refrigerant handling licence, VBA licence
• Connect and Disconnect electrical licence
• Knowledge of BMS Systems and Experience with integrated systems (HVAC and Fire)
• High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your work
• A current unrestricted drivers' licence
• Be able to evidence full covid vaccinations

Please note you will be required to complete and pass a National Police Check and Medical.
