About the role
Ventia have a newly created position for an Administrator to assist operations on site in the delivery of our TasWater Facility Management Contract across 1,835 sites across Tasmania.

 

This role is primarily focused on Finance & Administration activities and may include some support for operational administration.

 

This is a Permanent Part-Time position for 2 days per week based out of Moonah in Tasmania.

 

Duties

  • Assist in contractor management, purchase orders, accounts payable . receivable and compliance.
  • Deliver excellent service to all stakeholders.
  • Seek guidance on higher risk / complex activities / escalate issues as required.
  • Act as a daily point of contact between F&A function and contract/business unit personnel.
  • Provide feedback and flag improvement opportunities for processes, tools and systems.
  • Supporting the contract with HR requirements with onboarding, offboarding etc.
  • Manage and coordinate timesheet data in order to meet weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll deadlines.
  • Generate, process and receipt purchase orders as requested in Ariba or SAP where required.
  • Action relevant items on the open purchase order, cost & revenue reports before and after month end with the collaboration of the Operations team and Finance Manager.

 

 

About You
You will have a strong administration background with excellent skills using Excel and SAP/ Ariba or similar with a strong customer service mindset accompanied with:

 

  • Experience working in a large multi disciplined industry
  • Proven experience in assisting with AP/AR, PO’s and compliance
  • Experienced in SAP, as well as high literacy in MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders
  • Ability to complete and pass a National Police check to meet contractual requirements
