Electrical Foreman

The Role:
Ventia are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our Venture Smart team. In this role you will be the hands-on link working onsite with the crew as well as reporting to the Electrical Project Manager. You will be managing the day-to-day team operations including direct employees, Leading Hands, and subcontractors.

This full-time opportunity, based in Jandakot, WA, offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime based on operational requirements.

Key duties, but not limited to:

• Delivery of minor capital works projects on Main Roads Western Australia assets 
• Managing day-to-day operations including supervising the direct workforce, subcontractors and Leading Hands
• Planning, scheduling and communicating traffic management, work scope timelines, and expectations to the workforce
• Identifying any resource gaps and effectively communicating this to management

Skills and Experience:

• WA Driver’s License
• Trade Certificate – Electrotechnology Electrician
• Experience in associated electrical and communication works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) – Highly desirable
