Health and Safety Advisor (Fleet)

About The Role
Up to $130,000 Including Superannuation 
 

Ventia is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor (Fleet) to join our long-standing Venture Smart team based out of Jandakot in a Full Time, Permanent Position.

Venture Smart is a 50/50 joint venture between Ventia and Johnson Controls (JCI) to providing ongoing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintenance services & electrical capital works statewide for Main Roads WA.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide expert guidance and solutions to help project-based staff effectively implement quality and assurance management systems
• Work with the Director to create and update the yearly Project Audit & Inspection Plan
• Schedule and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with Ventia requirements and maintain certifications / accreditations
• Support with Investigations and Training Management Systems
• Manage the daily operations of the Venture Smart fleet (infringements / maintenance / damage)

About You:

• Diploma in Quality Management or similar – highly desirable
• Cert IV Workplace Health & Safety
• Lead / Internal Auditor Qualification
• Demonstratable experience in a Health and Safety environment
• Enthusiastic and a willingness to get the job done
