The Role
Ventia are currently looking to engage a qualified and experienced Site Supervisor to work on our exciting Defence Base Services contract. This position will see you based at Keswick Barricks in an ongoing full time position within the Estate Upkeep team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide effective work order management to support the Estate Upkeep deliverables at Edinburgh, ensuring all service outcomes are met to the performance and quality standards required by the Contract.
  • Monitor the performance of Estate Upkeep delivery requirements (KPI’s) for Edinburgh ensuring service delivery is effective and meets the stated Contract requirements.
  • Appropriately manage Ventia Services approved Subcontractors and suppliers, and where necessary initiate such corrective actions as required to maintain quality and timing of supply in accordance with respective agreements.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate on-base liaison and relationships with key Client and Customer representatives.
  • Assist the Infrastructure Services Manager with the reporting of performance of Estate Upkeep via the Contract and Performance Management process and relevant Ventia systems.
  • Ensure service delivery is effective, financially viable and is in accordance with budgets to meet our Contract requirements.
  • Coordinating appropriate HSE and audit related activities on-base and for services delivered.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Infrastructure Services Manager.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and be able to maintain an ADF Clearance to be eligible to apply.
  • You will be required to hold a current valid drivers licences and a working with Children clearance. 

About You

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor. (or equivalent).
  • Relevant Trade qualification/background.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office365 applications.
  • Strong customer service & communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative, and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • Strong ability to interact collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive relationships with all Clients and Customers.
