Position: Train Cleaner
Pay Rate: from $29.67 per hour plus penalties and Superannuation
Location: TransWA Prospector Maintenance Depot, Kewdale
Shift Schedule

- Tuesday 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Thursday 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Saturday 2:45 PM – 4:45 PM
- Sunday 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM
You are expected to work all of the above shifts. 
Additional hours may be offered, and some shifts may be extended if trains are running late.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize train interiors (seats, floors, tables, windows).
Empty trash bins and maintain restrooms.
Vacuum carpets and clean upholstery.
Disinfect high-touch surfaces (handrails, door handles).
Occasionally clean the train's exterior.

To be considered, you must:
Be physically fit – Able to lift, carry, kneel, perform cleaning tasks, and stand for over 2 hours

Hold a recent National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
Be able to pass random medical and drug & alcohol tests
Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential – full training provided
