About the Role
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this role will enhance financial performance for the project by, maintaining accurate financial records, partnering with operational stakeholders to drive efficient day-to-day processes, providing management with sound data and analysis to facilitate decision-making, and performing routine budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. 
 

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead a team in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and financial reporting systems, in line with company policies and required timelines. 
•    Complete month end close processes in a timely and accurate manner, including revenue recognition, cost accruals, and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.  
•    Monitor and optimise performance against targets, including revenue, EBITDA, net working capital and operating cash flow. 
•    Drive continuous improvement in the completion of end-to-end processes, including purchase to pay, order to cash, recruit to onboard, and payroll. 
•    Prepare analysis and reporting to meet internal and client financial reporting requirements and support decision-making. For example, actual vs budget/forecast variance analysis, productivity reporting and maintaining financial and operational Power BI dashboards. 
•    Participate in regular contract reviews and provide insights into contract performance, risk and opportunities, and improvement initiatives. 
•    Perform annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. 
•    Lead and develop direct reports, harnessing individual and team capabilities to deliver project outcomes. 
 

About You 
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
•    Tertiary qualification in accounting 
•    CA or CPA qualified  
•    Systems savvy – SAP, Ariba, Microsoft Suite of products and Power BI is advantageous
•    Proven experience in a similar role within a project accounting environment 
•    Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder management
