About the role:   

Due to the growth of our organisation you will have the ability to make a significant impact on technical solutions for Ventia and help drive our functions maturity and overall efficiencies and capability.

As our Enterprise Architect for Ventia you will be responsible for the design and implementation of technology solutions that align with our overall business strategy and client goals. You will play a key role on identifying pain points in the technical landscape and being a key contact in tenders and bids as well as supporting our Business Engagement Partners. 

You will be the subject matter expert in driving Ventia towards standardising solutions and offerings being the interface between digital services and our business leaders.

Based from our Cremorne office in Melbourne this position offers flexible hybrid working with time in the office and work from home. We would also consider other office locations in North Sydney or Brisbane for the right individual.

Role Responsibilities:  

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards and guidelines as well as templates.
• Partner with business senior business stakeholders and operations to understand their needs and develop technology solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation.
• Key partner in our modernisation journey contributing to RFT, partner selection and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with our work winning team to ensure technology solutions meet and exceed client expectations.
• Ensure technology solutions are scalable, secure and align with best practice.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovation solutions for the Ventia business.

About you:  

• Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
• Well developed experience in enterprise architecture, system design and implementation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical subject matter to varied audience of stakeholders.
