About The Role
Reporting to the National Maintenance - FNS, the ESM & Capacity Planning Manager will fulfill a cross functional role that includes Asset Management & Capacity Planning.
They will be responsible for delivering strategic asset management for the designated asset classes (Fire Systems & Hazardous Substances).
This includes ensuring Ventia maintain compliance to customer policy, Australian Standards & legislation as it related to Fire equipment and hazardous substances (primarily Asbestos).
There will be a close partnership with the Team Lead – Asset Management, as they will work to jointly review, develop, document, maintain & execute the asset management plan across all asset classes.
This role will be based out of our Lonsdale Street, Melbourne CBD offices.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing, developing, documenting, maintaining & executing the Asset Management Plan
- Monitoring and analysing equipment performance and recommend improvements to maintenance strategies
- Deliver programs of work to the customer with time, cost and quality as KPIs
- Monitor subcontractor performance to meet Ventia and client requirements
- Ensure all activities comply with the legislation and policies and in accordance with the Ventia Management Systems
- Work site safety & quality audits conducted as per specified targets
- Continuously improve asset, measurement, and failure reporting data quality

About You
You will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering or other equivalent field - preferably in Mechanical/Electrical in support of telecommunication facilities and equipment accompanied with:
- Working knowledge of standards and codes in relation to power & air conditioning, preferably in the context of telecommunications buildings
- Strong Maximo experience with understanding of data structure
- SQL Server Management Studio and PowerBI reporting
- Experience working in facility management as a reliability professional
- Experience in writing reports
- Experience in performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) or any other reliability engineering principles
