Electrician

About The Role:
Ventia in partnership with our Anglo-American contract is expanding and we are now looking for a qualified Electrician to work at our Middlemount site, QLD.
You will be responsible for providing electrical repairs & maintenance to Anglo American buildings, housing, along with plant & equipment in the accommodation village. 

You will work an 7 day on / 7 day off, drive in, drive out roster. Half a year’s work, whilst getting paid the full year!! Meals and accommodation are also provided on a salary of $106,527.46  + Super.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintenance of electrical wires, light fittings, and smoke alarms 
• Fault finding, reactive repairs and refurbishment works
• Conduct regular test and tag on the site’s equipment 
• Switchboard upgrades and refurbishments
• Air conditioner Installations (Circuit and power)
• Effectively communicate with customers to support other trades people 
  
   

What We’re Looking For:  

• A Grade Qld Electrical License
• Previous experience working in a domestic electrical setting
• Driver’s License & own transport to drive to site
• White Card 
• First aid, CPR & LVR 
• Trade exposure to Mining/Commercial/Industrial environment – Desirable
