Operations Administrator

About the Role:
Located in Mitcham VIC – the Operations Administrator provides supports the operations team with administration, procurement and any other administrations task as directed by the operations manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ad hoc office administration as directed by operations manager
- Support with DTL check utilising our in-house computer system
- Raise purchase orders, and track through to receipt and payment as required
- Managing office supplies stock and reordering
- Prepare and collate reports as required
- Liaise with crew, supervisors and management as required to manage, monitor and complete tasks
- Provide exceptional frontline customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
- General assistance to supervisors with maintaining projects spreadsheet registers, reporting, cost processing and receipting
- Continuous Improvement of admin processes
- Fleet administration and management including:
- Maintain fleet register Monitor fleet charges
- Arrange vehicle insurance, repairs and maintenance on schedule
- Ensure immediate/timely response to all fleet issues
- Embrace technology to work smarter not harder
- Be proactive and responsive in undertaking tasks
- Carry out all work activities upholding the Company values of Integrity, Ingenuity, Collaboration and Challenge
Key Skills and Experience of the ideal candidate:
- Experience in a similar role in the water or allied industry preferred.
- From time to time, accept and manage support issues within timeframes advised by the manager
- Continuous Improvement: Creates better ways of doing things, Brings new ideas, solutions, or methods to existing problems
- Commitment to quality customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated process analysis skills aligned to commercial understanding
