Refrigeration Mechanic

About The Role:
Ventia in partnership with our Anglo-American contract is expanding and we are now looking for a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to work at our Moranbah mine site camp and various other off site assets.

You will work a 8 day on / 6 day off, drive in, drive out roster. Half a year’s work, whilst getting paid the full year!! Meals and accommodation are also provided on a salary of $116,609.22 + Super.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reactive and preventative maintenance on air conditioning and compressor units
• Repairs, maintenance, and installations of plant & equipment 
• Fault Finding and refurbishment works
• Compressor changeouts
• Brake line maintenance and repairs
• Installation of PCB’s (Printed Circuit Boards)
• Effectively communicate with customers to support other trades people 

What We’re Looking For:  

• Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification & Refrigerant Handling License (RAC)
• Proven experience in a Commercial/Industrial environment
• Restricted electrical licence
• LVR and CPR
• Driver’s License & own transport to drive to camp
• White Card
