Climbing Arborist

About the role
Ventia is a long term provided of tree management services on the Mornington Peninsula.  We have recently resecured the Tree Management Services contract and are looking to expand our Arboriculture teams. 

We're looking for a motivated Climbing Arborists to join our team on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. This is your chance to work in a Tier 1 organisation whilst making a positive impact on the community.

What you’ll do

• Work as part of a high performing team to conduct tree pruning, removal, and maintenance. 
• Assist in ground-based tree work duties, including chipping, clean up and traffic control.
• Ensure works are delivered safely through participation in pre-climb inspections and hazard assessments ensuring safe climbing and rigging techniques.
• Support a positive work culture.

About You

• Certificate III in Arboriculture – Climbing (or in progress)
• Climbing experience required 
• EWP ticket and MR truck licence (desirable)
• Physical fitness suitable for outdoor work and climbing activities.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow instructions.
