Senior Climbing Arborist

About the role
Ventia is a long-term provider of tree management services for the Mornington Peninsula Shire.  

We have recently resecured the Tree Management Services contract and are looking to expand and diversify our Arboriculture teams. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Climbing Arborist to lead our complex tree pruning and removal operations. 

We are looking for a safety focused leader that cares about creating a positive team environment and supporting our community.

What you’ll do

• Lead complex pruning and removal operations ensuring public and property safety.
• Supervise teams fostering teamwork while emphasizing safe practices, quality workmanship, and a positive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with residents and other stakeholders resolving issues with professionalism.
• Actively contribute to improving processes.

What you’ll need

• Certificate III in Arboriculture - Climbing (minimum)
• Proven experience in advanced tree climbing, pruning, and removal techniques
• Thorough knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to environmentally responsible practices
• Current valid driver's license (MR truck license preferred)
• EWP and MR licence desirable
