Care and Custody Officer

Casual Opportunities – Mount Gambier

• Ideal for candidates seeking ad hoc work during peak operational hours.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster is essential, with availability for weekends and night shifts.
• This position supports a 24/7 operational environment and may involve coverage across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and security of Persons in Custody
• Escort and transport Persons in Custody
• Provide care in hospital and court settings
  
  

Requirements:

• Manual driver’s licence (MR truck licence highly regarded)
• Willingness to obtain First Aid certification
• Available for travel (road and air)
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass Police checks, Working with Children Check, and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test)
• You must be available to attend the face-to-face interview sessions which will be held on Tuesday 23rd of September at 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
