About the Role
The team are looking for an experienced Logistics Officer, to manage and allocate materials for NBN Connections across QLD. With a hybrid working environment, our main teams are based in West End, QLD, however for the right candidate we can potentially consider alternative locations as we have offices nationwide.
The selected candidate will have NBN materials coordination experience within large-scale projects.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Offer support to Contractors and Technician in terms of materials required to complete NBN Work Order Requests (WORs)
- Monitor Technician van stock levels and ensure that Technicians are not ordering more materials than required
- Encourage Technicians who are over stocedto transfer materials via Van2Van process
- Ensure Technicians carry out full stock take of materials on quarterly basis
- Manage all returns of materials to NBN Warehouses
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with Material reporting and monitoring
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and directly with the field workforce, particularly with Before-the-Day (BTD) preparations and On-the-Day (OTD) execution
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Good understanding of different customer nbn technologies
