Senior Finance Analyst

Ventia provide network construction, deployment, and maintenance team to the Telecommunications sector. We’re hiring a newly created Senior Finance Analyst to manage the Telstra Projects Work in Progress and Trade Receivables whilst maintaining positive client relationships.

What you will be doing:
- Prepare underclaim and trade receivable dashboards for both client and internal reporting, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
- Calculate contractual discounts and analyse credit risks based on company credit policies.
- Conduct underclaim analysis and audits across all projects within the contract.
- Maintain a healthy debtors ledger, actively reducing aged debtors by addressing claim rejections in collaboration with the projects and validation teams.
- Partner with the commercial team and other stakeholders to resolve escalated claim disputes, ensuring cashflow optimization while preserving positive client relationships.
- Oversee cashflow forecasts for both client and internal reporting, providing insights into underlying issues and communicating recommendations to the project team for cashflow optimisation.
About you:
- Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance.
- CA or CPA qualification preferred.
- Expertise in underclaims, accounts receivables, and project accounting for operational and maintenance projects or similar.
- Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven with a proactive approach to work.
