Customer Service Officer/Storesperson

Ventia is seeking a Customer Service Officer/Storesperson at our Australian Defence Force Parachuting School in Nowra. You will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team by providing quality service to our defence personnel.

• $28.62 p/hr + super
• Working hours are 7:30am-4:30pm (Mon-Wed) and 7:30am – 4pm (Thurs)

What you'll be doing:

• Serving customers, receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves, plus preparing the training kits for courses
• Arranging equipment repairs and stock purchases through our computer systems
• Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site
• Management of all inventories, receipts, and delivery of goods
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping

Our next Customer Service Officer/Storesperson will:

• Be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance (police check) and reference checks
• Hold a valid driver's licence and reliable transport is essential
• Previous customer service experience with a friendly nature
• Demonstrate strong computer skills and technical savvy.
• Have a "hands on" proactive attitude and be physically fit, as the job requires prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing
