Stores Service Attendant

Ventia have an exciting opportunity for a Store Service Attendant (Retail Assistant) to join our National Clothing Store based in Nowra at the HMAS Albatross Defence Base. Reporting to the Site Lead, you will be a vital team member and be responsible for the storage and distribution of Defence Force clothing for serving Defence personnel.

This is a Full-time permanent role | Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm


Key Duties  

• Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves.
• Over the counter customer service to our defence members
• Answering customer queries regarding stock location and progress. 
• Receipt and delivery of goods. 
• Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site.
• Operating computer system to obtain details of stock quantity and location.
• Be apart of Point of Entry – servicing our new members uniforms providing a positive experience.

About You

• Demonstrated high volume customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Intermediate computer skills & great customer service skills
• Ability to endure high volume of customers servicing our defence members
• Experience with SAP beneficial, but not essential
• Candidate must hold a valid Driver licence
• Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance and therefore, must be an Australian Citizen.
