Stores/Customer Service

Ventia currently have a full-time, 9 day fortnight opportunity for a Customer Service Officer at our Australian Defence Force Parachuting School in Nowra. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team.

What you'll be doing:

• Serving customers, receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves, plus preparing the training kits for courses.
• Arranging equipment repairs and stock purchases through our computer systems.
• Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site.
• Management of all inventory, receipts, and delivery of goods.
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping.

 
Our next Customer Service Officer will:

• Be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance.
• Have good customer service skills.
• Hold basic computer skills.
• Have a "hands on" proactive attitude and be physically fit, as the job requires prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing.
• Hold a valid driver's licence and reliable transport is essential.
