The Role
In this role, you’ll see yourself responsible for a variety of jobs throughout the Waikato. On a day-to-day basis the work involves coordinating with the Contract Manager to deliver quality service to all our clients and stakeholders. Leading our cyclic team members, daily routine inspections, operating/labouring and minor maintenance repairs on the road network. These include basic road repairs, potholes, edge break, minor guardrail repairs, sweeping, edge marker posts, roadside rubbish, road signs, culvert cleaning, and emergency response. You will be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

12-Month Fixed Term Contract – Immediate Start 
 
About you 

•    Class 1 Drivers Licence 
•    Have previous maintenance and leadership experience
•    Previous pavement and traffic services maintenance experience 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
•    Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
•    Have passion and commitment to safety in the workplace
