ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Courier–Fleet and Distribution Services is responsible for the daily delivery of items as part of the Fleet and Distribution Services at the central Alliance hospitals and off-site properties and areas of operations. This will see you: 
 

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to patients, DHB staff, and facilities in a safe, timely manner. 

• Ensuring manifest documentation is completed correctly and reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied. 

• Loading and unloading items from vehicles. 

• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and escalating complaints from clients. 

• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. 

• Abiding by all legislation, policy, and rules laws and maintaining a safe driving record. 

• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries. 

ABOUT YOU 

• The successful candidate will have a minimum Full Class 1 Driver’s license and a clean and safe driving record. 

• Have a minimum of 2 vaccinations and 1 booster shot against COVID-19, as this role is in the public health sector. 

• Experience in Courier or logistic work will be highly regarded 

• Experience working in the healthcare transport or logistic environment will be an advantage.
