The centralAlliance is a collaborative agreement between Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Whanganui and MidCentral District. MidCentral District includes the Palmerston North Public Hospital precinct and Horowhenua Health Centre, with a combined 350 in-patient beds.
About the Role
You will be working alongside a highly skilled electrical trades team in Palmerston North. In this role you will:
- Provide efficient delivery of the Electrical Maintenance Service at the Palmerston North Hospital campus and client base in support of the Power Systems Facility Manager and aligned with Ventia and the Contract’s specific deliverables.
- Effectively direct any Electrical Maintenance personnel under your responsibility (where applicable).
- Assist the Electrical Team Leader and/or the Power Systems Facility Manager in the provision of electrical maintenance & service delivery.
About the You
To be considered for this role, you will need to be fully registered and hold a full EWRB practicing license as well as the below:
- Solid experience in a similar role - planned and reactive maintenance in a multifaceted maintenance operation environment.
- Background in process control (desirable).
- Understanding of Building Management Systems (desirable).
- Ability to complete relevant work management documents including work feedback, inventory, and general maintenance reports.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to work without supervision and to work effectively with both internal & external stakeholders.
A valid NZ class 1 driver’s license is also required.
