Area Cleaning Supervisor

Ventia’s NSW Schools contract delivers quality Cleaning Services in Public Schools and Government facilities across the various regions. We are seeking an Area Cleaning Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role will involve frequent travel throughout the Parramatta and Western Sydney region.

This is a full-time, permanent role with varying shift times. The position offers $90,000 TFR plus a company vehicle.
 

A day in the life:

• Managing an efficient roster of fulltime, part-time, and casual employees.
• Ensuring all sites are compliant in relation to site documentation, equipment, chemicals, and consumables to achieve contractual compliance.
• Communicating effectively with Clients, Customers and staff on issues pertaining to service delivery, operational issues, project progress and Continual Improvement.
• Supervising staff and provide ongoing training and development.
• Performing regular inspections to ensure work is delivered at the highest standard.
• Promoting and monitoring safe work practices.
• Occasionally conducting cleaning duties to ensure quality standards are met.
• Effectively communicating with staff and liaising with clients when required.
• Payroll duties as required.

About you:

• Resilient and capable of supervising approx. 70-100 cleaners across all shift times.
• Certificate IV in Asset Maintenance (Highly regarded)
• Demonstrated supervisory experience within the cleaning industry (Desirable)
• An ability to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent results.
• An approachable, collaborative leader, who promotes a happy work culture.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated decision making abilities combined with a developed level of innovative thinking. 
• Experience with Microsoft programs, excel, outlook, etc.

Please note that as part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test) and be able to obtain a Police and Working With Children Clearance (WWCC).
