People Services Coordinator

We have a unique opportunity to join our People Services team with Ventia. This position will be a key team member of our Operations in providing end to end support to all employees across the organisation and throughout the employee lifecycle. You will assist with human resource functions such as onboarding new employees, facilitating internal movements and generating various contracts and documents whilst aways ensuring strict confidentially and compliance.
We are offering a full time, fixed term contract for a 6 month period, with a strong potential for the role to transition into a permanent full time position.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the employee life cycle and onboarding of new employees.
- Assist with the general People & Capability projects and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance on right to work documentation to Compliance on right to work documentation and maintenance of employee files across NZ and Australia.
- Coordination of pre-employment checks including management of medical bookings and police checks.
- Drafting employment and change of conditions letters.
- Assisting with general people and capability projects and support as well as reporting.
About you:
- Prior experience within a similar role or transferable skill set.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
