Ventia is looking for an experienced Strategic Asset Planner to join our dynamic team in the in the heart of the Parramatta CBD. The successful candidate will provide technical support and own the asset strategy for all HV & LV electrical assets across the Defence estate.

 

This position is offering $120,000 - $130,000 TFR, working Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid work model, a weekly combination of home and office days!

Primary responsibilities:

 

  • Review and authorize standard maintenance instructions, technical procedures, work instructions, job analysis, risk assessments and work schedules.
  • Performance measurement, compliance and reporting for the HVAC engineering and technical components of Asset Management
  • Responsible for advice to support equipment performance review and upgrade. 
  • Work order management, Triage of work requests and planning.
  • Support Principal Electrical Engineer – use industry knowledge to formulate asset strategies, schedule maintenance that extends the life of equipment and assets whilst meeting Australian and international standards.
  • Configuration Control and management of Elec assets where practicable
  • Cost control of work orders and planned maintenance

 

Could you be our next Strategic Asset Planner?

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Qualified in Electrical Power Engineering or a minimum, Electrical Trade Experience
  • Certificate IV in Electrical Maintenance preferred.
  • Diploma of Electrical Engineering (highly regarded)
  • Advanced Diploma level Tertiary qualifications in Power Systems (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level. 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a team member.      
  • Demonstrated written technical communication and IT skills.
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
