The Role
Ventia is currently seeking a Crew Coordinator to join our team supporting the Rig & Wells contract, working alongside our Minerals team. In this key role, you will report directly to the Operations Support Manager, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between crew members, site operations, and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, the ability to manage crew schedules effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.


This is a full-time permanent position with a salary package on offer of $71,500.00 to $79,000.00 per year plus Superannuation (based on experience).

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining rosters for all FIFO /DIDO field workers, ensuring adequate staffing levels
  • Crew logistics, including organising & booking of commercial flights along with all accommodation needs 
  • Compiling reports to support monthly & quarterly client meetings
  • Maintaining employee database
  • Organising all required training & updating training matrixes
  • Providing human resources support including, terminations, processing leave forms, & promotions


Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERMS, SAM Workflow, SuccessFactors – Highly desirable
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Reliability & good work ethic with the ability to multi-task
  • Prioritise tasks & maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience in logistics, coordinating or scheduling within energy, oil & gas and minerals would be beneficial
