Field Supervisor Telecommunications

Join Our Team as a Field Supervisor!

Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating and leading a diverse team of skilled tradespeople for exciting NBN construction projects in remote and regional locations. This a 2/1 Fly in Fly out position from Perth to the regional north of WA.

About the role:

• Conduct construction walk-outs and planning to ensure efficient site operations aligned with plans and schedules
• Lead and manage subcontractors, clearly communicating their scopes and addressing any issues with the Area Supervisor/Superintendent
• Collaborate with the Client to secure approvals for changes in scope/design.
• Proactively manage resource needs and shortages, escalating as necessary.
• Work with Site Engineers to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment, reporting any stock deficiencies promptly
• Manage Safety, Program and Quality in the field while reporting progress back to the Area Supervisor and Site Engineer

About You:

• Supervisory experience in a communication’s civil construction role
• Knowledge of telecommunications networks (Telstra/NBN)
• Ability to read and interpret Telstra and NBN plans as well as BYDA plans is essential
• Civil background, with experience in Directional Drills, ACM Removal, Pit and pipe installation and Open Trenching
• Proven track record in supervising contractors doing multi discipline roles
• Willingness to travel throughout the state, particularly in the Nort West
