About the Role


The role of Financial Administrator will see you supporting the accounting and project administration processes and systems to facilitate smooth project delivery and produce high-quality reporting. This includes but is not limited to general ledger maintenance, payroll, work order administration and client billing. 

 

  • You will monitor and optimise working capital positions, Including collection of accounts receivable and coordination of procurement and accounts payable processes.   
  • You will support finance and operations team members with insightful analyses on the performance of the project against financial targets, including revenue, margin, working capital and cash.
  • You will contribute to routine financial reporting processes, including monthly performance reviews (variance analysis), monthly and quarterly reforecasts, and annual budget setting.

About you 


To be successful in the role of Financial Administrator, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting. 
  • CA or CPA qualified highly desirable.
  • Proven extensive experience within an operational accounting environment.
  • General business understanding and commercial awareness.
  • Microsoft Suite experience – Word, Excel etc.
  • SAP and Power BI knowledge and experience desirable
  • Experience in working capital and cash flow management.
  • Knowledge of finance and administration responsibilities, including purchase order management, and timesheet and payroll processing.
  • Experience in general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
