Operations Supervisor

Ventia have a rare opportunity for a client focused Facility Operations Supervisor to join our close knit and long standing Australian Marine Complex (AMC) team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is based within the AMC Common User Facility (AMC CUF) in Henderson.

The AMC CUF is a multi-industry, multi-user industrial facility serviced by a deep-water port, a floating dock and transfer system, specialised load out wharves, extensive laydown and assembly areas and several large fabrication halls.

Key duties, but not limited to:

• Act as a key operational interface for users at the AMC CUF
• Monitor and record assigned areas, buildings, wharves, SPMT, floating dock and meters
• Facilitate the scheduling and accurately record all current and future asset booking requirements 
• Assist the Operations Manager in the management of the contracted security provider
• Plan shipping wharf hire and coordinate movements directly with shipping agents

What we are looking for:

• Previous operations experience within a logistics, supply base, marine / port environment
• Customer focused and excellent negotiation skills with a focus on conflict resolution
• Basic understanding of industrial switchboards and piping
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, ability to utilise bespoke databases 
• Enthusiastic, well presented, assertive, with great time management
• Construction White Card, valid Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence
• First Aid Certificate
