The Role
Our Rigs & Wells division is currently seeking a self-motivated and experienced Safety Advisor to join our Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) team. Located on Barrow Island WA and reporting to the SHEQ Manager; this role is client facing and is pivotal to supporting our land rig workover activities. You will be instrumental in promoting a positive health and safety culture and driving continual improvement initiatives.
This is a casual ongoing position with a 12-hour working day on a 2:2 roster. Accommodation and flights are provided from Perth WA, and a company vehicle is provided on-site for all work-related travel.
The pay rate for this position ranges from $659.00 to $900.00 per day (flat rate, including casual loading), based on experience.

Your duties:
- Actively develop & maintain effective relationships with stakeholders & field safety leads
- Facilitate reviews of operational risks at a site level in conjunction with the SHEQ Manager
- Conduct onsite audits & inspections in line with assurance plans, including the development of actions
- Participate & conduct an annual review of the effectiveness of training initiatives & compliance
- Work with rig crews conducting risk assessments & implementing control measures
- Deliver weekly safety meetings & develop weekly SHEQ Reports
- Investigating all accidents & incidents
- Developing & implementing SHEQ procedures
Requirements:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Experience with ICAM & Taproot
- Safety Auditor accreditation – Highly regarded
- Experience in a field-based safety advisor role, with expertise in incident investigation methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a team player
