Trainee Switching Operator EOI

In support of this growth, Ventia are inviting expressions of interest for Trainee Switching Operators to join their global and diverse organisation. 

About the role

As we move into this exciting new phase, we are seeking expression of interest from qualified Linespersons to undertake a Traineeship to become a Switching Operator.  Once qualified as a Switching Operator you will be responsible for delivering HV/ LV maintenance, installation, testing, commissioning, and switching operations for both planned work and unplanned outages.

About you 

To be successful in the role of Switching Operator, you should hold the following skills & experience:

• Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead (UET30619) or equivalent
• Demonstrated field experience. 
• Hold a current driver's licence.
