Workover Crews (Rig Managers, Drillers, Derrickhands, Lead Floorhands)

The Role:
Due to our continued growth, Ventia are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Workover Crews to join our Rig & Wells contract. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, we are looking to fill a range of roles, primarily Rig Managers, Drillers, Derrickhands, and Lead Floorhands with the relevant qualifications.

These positions will be on our 2:2 lifestyle roster and see you based on Barrow Island, with flights provided from your closet capital city.

General Requirements:

• C Class Driver’s Licence – Must be manual
• Certificate II, III or IV in Onshore Oil/Gas Drilling Operations
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas Work Over Operations within Australia
• A high regard and positive attitude towards safety and teamwork

Role Specific Requirements:
Rig Manager

• Valid IWCF Level 4 Well Control Certificate

Driller

• Valid IWCF Level 3 Well Control Certificate
• Experience with racking back in Rod Board & Monkey Board

Derrickhand

• Valid IWCF Level 2 Well Control Certificate
• Experience with racking back in Rod Board & Monkey Board
• Experience with Operation of triplex mud pump & tank operations

Lead Floorhand

• High Risk Work Licence with Non-Slewing Crane
• HR Truck Licence
