The Company
Ventia’s Living Services team are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from a creative and highly organized Event Coordinator.
- Monday to Friday Perth based role with occasional travel to project to coordinate major events on site (includes accommodation, meals and travel)

The Role
Ventia has been engaged to provide hard and soft facilities management services including village catering, accommodation, maintenance and an aerodrome facility on a village mine site in the Pilbara region.
Reporting into the Village Manager, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering various events and activities within a mining village site environment.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate events at the village, including team building events, conferences, workshops, social events, training sessions, and community engagement activities
- Collaborate with different stakeholders including the client, suppliers and on site staff to understand event requirements and objectives
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, equipment setup, catering, site access, transportation, and accommodation arrangements
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective within budget outcomes without compromising quality
- Strive to secure best service and prices with approved vendors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and client regulations and protocols during all events
- Lead campaigns to marketing and create awareness of events in an effort to maximize attendance and engagement
- Provide on-site event management, overseeing all aspects of event execution and troubleshooting any issues that may arise
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback to continuously improve future events
About you
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Creative and able to build relationships that create a warm, fun, and inviting atmosphere for residence to relax and unwind
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator, preferably within the mining or industrial sector
- Willing to travel to oversee and manage events being held at the village
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols within the mining industry
- Proficiency in event management software and tool
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours
