About the Project 
Ventia has partnered with Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) to provide distribution, maintenance, and construction services. For more than a decade, Ventia has worked to deliver over $250 million of electricity and gas transmission and distribution (T&D) projects across Australia. 
 

About the Role 
Looking for a team orientated and self-motivated member to join our Brisbane, QLD team. Successful applicants will need to be flexible and willing to work rosters including 10 & 4 and 11 & 3 as per project requirement.  

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited: 

• Work throughout South-East QLD and other regional areas
• Safely perform Construction and Maintenance tasks on Distribution Powerline Networks – Overhead Lines 
• Ability to work in teams and provide quality workmanship
• Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, and statutory obligations.

 
Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Trade Qualification (Distribution Linesman OR Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)
• Current HR QLD Driver's Licence
• Preferred previous experience working on the Energy Queensland network.
• Construction White Card 
• High Risk Work Licence to operate an EWP (greater than 11m)
