Care and Custody Officer

Casual Opportunities – Port Augusta

• Work within a dynamic 24/7 operational environment, with coverage across a variety of shifts.
• Flexibility across a 7-day roster is essential, including availability for weekends and night shifts.
• Opportunities to travel and support other regional locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and security of Persons in Custody.
• Escort and transport Persons in Custody.
• Provide care in hospital and court settings.
  
  

Requirements:

• Manual driver’s licence (MR truck licence highly regarded).
• Willingness to obtain First Aid certification.
• Available for travel (road and air).
• Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass Police checks, Working with Children Check, and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test).
• You must be available to attend the face-to-face interview sessions which will be held on Tuesday 30th September on 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
