Ventia has been awarded the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) contract for the Government of South Australia.


The AGFMA contract will see our teams support over 25 SA government agencies across 3,500 government sites across the state with asset management for government-owned facilities. This will generate a revenue of approximately $300 million per annum over the initial term. We will safely deliver these facilities management services to communities across South Australia, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are also excited to be partnering with local small to medium businesses to help us delivery these services, keeping investment and employment in South Australia.


The Opportunity 


We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Lead (Facilities Manager) in Port Augusta, where you will be responsible for minor works projects, maintenance schedules, tracking service metrics, managing budgets, and helping lead the professionals responsible for delivery of services within your allocated area of responsibility.    


Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide safety guidance to subcontract partners and ensure safety compliance, adherence to safety standards, conduct site audits, inspection and quality of work 
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with Agency, Agency sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants 
  • Point of contact for Facilities Management enquiries and opportunities with your assigned Government agency/s, including the development of access plans to ensure all protocols are followed and appropriate notice provided
  • Work alongside the Contact Centre to ensure smooth delivery of the contract and be on-call to support the Centre during and after business hours. 
  • Monitor the performance of all subcontractors on site(s) and ensure the terms and conditions of subcontractor agreements are met, ensure that services are delivered smoothly and consistently across the contract and facilitate improvements to the delivery of contracted services.  
  • In consultation with the Asset Management team, develop a program of planned works to be implemented under the contract.   


Your skills and experience will include:

  • Strong Facilities Management experience – ideally commercial assets (buildings and equipment)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience as you will be the conduit between the customer and subcontractors (Essential)
  • Project Management experience 
  • Leadership and conflict resolution experience
  • Trade qualified (any building or maintenance trade would be advantageous)
  • Having proactive approach and being highly organised
  • Driving a culture of safety in the workplace
  • Clean drivers licence
