Estate Upkeep Supervisor

In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are seeking an Estate Upkeep Supervisor to join us on a Full-Time basis at Puckapunyal defence base (located near Seymour).

Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective assistance and support to the operation and management of services at Puckapunyal Defence Base.

Duties may include:

• Appropriate management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate on-base liaison and relationships with key Client and Customer representatives
• Monitoring the performance of service delivery functions.
• Ensure service delivery is effective and meets the stated Contract requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work orders or urgent requests on site are responded to in a timely manner.
• Assist the Infrastructure Services Manager with the reporting of performance of the services via the Contract and Performance Management.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working in the same or similar role.
• Experience in work order management or maintenance planning.
• Experience in contractor management.
• Trade knowledge desirable.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with technical staff, subcontractors, senior military officers and Client representatives.
• Proven decision-making abilities combined with innovative thinking to generate problem solving solutions.
