Spray Technician- Early Morning

About the role

Are you a self-starter with excellent attention to detail? If yes, then this might be your dream job!  Starting at 3am and finishing at 11:30am, you will work in our town centres spraying and pulling weeds to ensure that they are kept tidy, well maintained and presented at their absolute best.

Health and Safety is our number one priority and accordingly we use low grade herbicides, provide full PPE and give full training on herbicide and pesticide application.  In addition, we can support you in achieving your Growsafe certificate.

This role sits within our Hard Surface team, so although you be working on you own run, there is support from the broader team.

This role would suit someone with previous weed management experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Chemical spraying and application of herbicides.
• Manual weed removal.
• Operating spray equipment and machinery
• Supporting general garden maintenance.
• Various methodologies such as mechanical, manual, and hot water to manage weeds.
• Pest plant control

 About You

• A Full New Zealand driver’s license – Manual
• Comfortable working sole charge
• Are committed to delivering consistently high-quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and committed to getting the job done.
• Are conscientious toward keeping everyone updated.
• Reliable, good time management and always on time for work.
• Flexibility to work additional hours to complete scheduled work.
