In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, we are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand to join the team at RAAF Base East Sale.

 

We have a casual role working predominantly between 4:30pm - 8:30pm, Monday - Friday.

 

About The Role:

  • Safe food handling, sanitisation and cleanliness of the meal and service areas.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of food preparation equipment.
  • Assist in stock takes and other inventory control activities as required.
  • Comply with site specific safety requirements and report any potential issues.
  • Assist with basic food preparation, as requested by the Head Chef.

 
About You:

  • Relevant experience as a Kitchen Hand in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of hygiene practices of the food safety program
  • Ability and willingness to follow instruction.                       
  • Good communication skills.
