Field Managers

Ventia has been awarded a new contract with NBN Co over five years, with the option to extend. We are seeking to hire 5x Field Managers to oversee and supervise our field-based operations teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day management of activities in the field for our workforce. We are looking to hire people to work across South of Sydney, down to Eden and as far as Wagga Wagga.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll play a critical role in delivering maintenance and customer activation services on the nbn® network across NSW and the ACT. There will be travel opportunities throughout NSW.
• Daily supervision ensuring that technicians have appropriate tools, testing equipment and materials & skills to enable the completion of tasks.
• Assist field technicians and provide coaching to improve performance, quality and end user customer experience. 
• Liaise with the Area Manager & field workforce to ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
• Managing the progress of works at various sites in coordination with project staff, to meet client expectations within time constraints, budget, safety, environmental and quality.
• Weekly Quality & HSE Audits.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Extensive experience working on nbn technologies at multiple sites with internal and external stakeholders.    
• Previous experience in contracting and managing a contractor workforce
• Knowledge of FTTX or HFC activation and assurance activities
• Knowledge & experience of nbn network and build process
• NSW Valid Drivers Licence 
• Willingness to travel and work away from home
