Electrician

Ventia provides facilities management services including planned and reactive maintenance, as well as repairs to the City of Sydney's portfolio of 251 facility assets. These assets include a range of community facilities such as community centres, libraries, leisure facilities and depots, commercial buildings, and iconic buildings such as Sydney Town Hall and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.  

We’re hiring a full-time permanent Electrician to join our team at our Alexandria depot. You'll be required to travel around Sydney City to visit a range of buildings on a daily basis.

What you’ll be doing:

• Undertake all aspects of the Electrical trade including reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
• Test, locate and repair electrical malfunctions.
• Efficiently and collaboratively undertake all Electrical activities and related enabling activities for assigned work orders and complete the works so that it is compliant.
• Continuously seek new and improved ways of service delivery, customer service and overall efficiency.
• Responsible and accountable for keeping timely, accurate and complete records of work activities. Use of the official recordkeeping system is mandatory.
• Communicate with service team members and relevant stakeholders to ensure work is carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

About you:

The successful candidate will undergo a police check, medical and reference checks.

• Electrical Trade qualification.
• Previous electrician maintenance experience.
• Drivers License.
• Construction / White Card.
