Ventia delivers facilities management services to the City of Sydney's portfolio of 251 facility assets and this contract is one of the largest and most prestigious local government facilities management contracts in Australia and New Zealand.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join the team in our Town Hall office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning and scheduling of work tasks to the service delivery teams and subcontractors.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Effective planning and resource assignment of reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
  • Daily dispatch of all maintenance tasks allocated to the appropriate resource (internal trades and sub-contractors).
  • Issue planned tasks schedules for Precinct Manager review and assignment monthly and update the system accordingly.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of work tasks volume and completion rates.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders including the Workforce Planning Manager, subcontractors, our client (City of Sydney), Supervisors, and Field Technicans.


Could you be our next Maintenance Planner?

  • Experience working in a similar role or a background in rostering, scheduling, planning or service coordination.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc) and ideally familiar with Power BI.
