Field Manager Bay of Plenty

Ventia has an exciting opportunity for a Field Manager to take charge of project delivery across a key area of our growing business.

This role is your chance to take ownership and help shape the future of how we deliver for our clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Field Manager, you will be the go-to person for managing end-to-end delivery of client projects and programs of work across your designated region.

Key responsibilities

• Owning the planning, resource scheduling, and financial performance of all jobs in your area
• Driving excellence in health and safety, compliance, and project quality
• Managing and reviewing subcontractor performance to get the best results
• Being a visible leader in the field – expect to be out and about 80% of the time
• Providing your team and subcontractors with information, tools, and support they need to succeed
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their culture and needs.
• Identifying and actioning contract variations and improvement opportunities
• Ensuring every job is delivered on time,  to spec, and on budget.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a confident, hands-on leader who knows how to bring out the best in a team.

You’ll have

• Proven experience in project delivery and field supervision
• Excellent planning and organisational skills – you’re always one step ahead
• Strong decision-making ability, but you’re also open to feedback and new ideas
• Ideally experienced in telco or fibre networks
• Tertiary qualification preferred
• Confidence managing budgets and understanding financial outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
