About the Role
Exciting times are ahead at our Withcott workshop as we continue to expand and take on new challenges. We have a permanent opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for supporting the service, repair and inspection of all drilling and well servicing rigs, operational equipment, vehicles & trailers. This position will see you working on a vast variety of oil and gas/ minerals equipment as well as supporting the wider Ventia business. This is a fulltime role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with the opportunity for over time. You will get to work with a great team in an exciting environment. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Servicing, repairing & manufacturing of new and rebuilt drilling / well servicing rigs
- Refurbishment and assembly of oil and gas equipment
- Service & repairs of vehicles and trailers (transport & earthmoving equipment)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Producing high-quality work.
- General housekeeping of work area and equipment

About You:
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Preferably experience with CAT equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
