About the Role:
As a Subcontracts Officer, you’ll provide essential support to our Supply Chain team by managing subcontractor and supplier records, ensuring documentation is processed accurately and in line with governance frameworks. You’ll be a key contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, helping them understand and follow subcontracting processes.
This role suits someone with exposure to contracts or a strong interest in learning contract management. Experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate is highly regarded — but above all, we value attitude, clarity in communication, and a commitment to process.
This role is based in our Toowoomba office, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage subcontractor documentation and supplier records
- Ensure compliance with governance and reporting requirements
- Support onboarding and compliance activities for subcontractors
- Assist in the purchasing of goods and services by managing Supply/Subcontract Agreements and contract documents (e.g. variations)
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth workflows
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance review processes
- Facilitate meetings with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance and engagement
- Promote open communication with stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence to uphold governance and explain procedures clearly
- Exposure to contracts, procurement, or supplier management (or a willingness to learn)
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team goals
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors is beneficial
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); SAP experience is an advantage but not essential
