Join Our Team as a Skilled Seamstress
Ventia has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Seamstress to become a valued member of our team supporting Australian Defence personnel in Wagga, NSW. As our Seamstress, you’ll report directly to the Site Lead and play a vital role in delivering expert tailoring and alteration services to those who serve our nation.

Working Hours: 

• Mon, Tues, Thurs: 7:30am – 4:00pm
• Wed: 7:00am – 4:30pm
• Fri: 7:30am – 1:00pm

Your Role Will Include:

• Sewing rank badges, medals, and insignias
• Performing tailoring and alterations such as hemming and adjustments
• Taking accurate body measurements for tailored fits
• Supporting Defence personnel with fitting and outfitting needs
• Maintaining precise work order records
• Managing clothing store inventory and assisting in general store operations

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Is an Australian Citizen (required for Defence Security Clearance)
• Has experience with tailoring, measuring, and clothing alterations
• Has worked in clothing store operations and understands inventory processes
• Thrives on meeting production deadlines and managing workloads
• Brings a strong customer service mindset to every interaction
• Can confidently use basic MS Office tools for record keeping
