Project Services is a new centralised function within Ventia’s Telecommunications sector that unifies three specialist teams – Process, Systems & Governance; Subcontractor Enablement; and Land Access & Stakeholder Engagement – into a single, cohesive hub
Project Services is transforming the Telecommunications division by standardising operational processes, enhancing governance structures, achieving significant operational efficiencies, and empowering teams.
The Training & Development specialist is responsible for implementing learning, & development initiatives across the Telecommunications division.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement unified training strategies across the Telecommunications division.
- Reviewing processes, stakeholder meetings, compliance checks, audits, system optimisation, reporting, and continuous improvement activities
- Design and update training materials aligned with system and process changes.
- Conduct regular training and onboarding sessions.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt materials as needed.
- Maintain records of training completions and certifications.
- Liaise with teams to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Reviewing processes, stakeholder meetings, compliance checks, audits, system optimization, reporting, and continuous improvement activities
About you
- Certificate IV in training and assessment (Desirable)
- Well-developed knowledge of (LMS) Learning Management Systems and training accreditation processes.
- Experience in training and development preferably in a similar complex infrastructure environment.
- Able to manage large-scale programs with a strong understanding of contractual frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, change management, leadership capability and process optimisation experience.
