Electrician

• Hourly rate $52.70 p/hr plus super
• Stand By Allowance $320 per week worked
• Permanent position Monday to Friday 7am-3pm plus overtime

As the Operations & Maintenance Electrician for West Wyalong Solar Farm – you will utilise your electrical skills and knowledge to provide effective maintenance and operational outcomes to maximise output and production of the solar facility.

About the role

• Scheduled and preventative maintenance focused on the solar farm power inverters, transformers, switch gear, panels, trackers and control equipment.
• Perform breakdown and corrective maintenance to ensure system performance.
• Coordinate, supervise and quality check work activities of self and others on site.
• Work within strict accordance to all SHEQ systems, procedures & regulations.
• Be available for emergency callouts and breakdowns.
• Utilise drawings, schematics, and diagrams to perform works.
• General site and property care and maintenance.
• Any other duties as required by the business.

About you

• Qualified Electrician with NSW Electrical Licence
• Australian Drivers Licence and White Card
• Experience in solar/renewables and high voltage is advantageous
• Must be able to use computers and have basic writing and typing skills.
