Plough Operator/Labourer - remote/rural work!

Seeking multiple Plough Operators/Labourer to join our crew!

About the Role:

These roles requires a lot of travel and working away from home on a 21-day on / 7-day off roster. You’ll be working in rural areas across NSW and be required to work 10–12-hour days. You will receive a generous living away from home allowance whilst travelling along with working alongside an inclusive site team.  

As most the locations will be rural, the majority of our team have their own caravans to sleep in as there is not usually any local accommodation around. We can still consider your application if you do not have access to a caravan.

What you'll be doing:

The project is in the installation of Optic Fibre cables for the Telstra network on the Inter City Fibre Network (ICF) project.  

• Rod, Rope & Hauling – hauling multiple cables by hand & machinery, quality checks.
• Civil activities – repair blockages, operate plant and equipment such as dozer, excavator, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes and HR trucks.
• Labouring duties – cut and repair fences, undertake excavation using hand and mechanical methods.

What you’ll need:

Mandatory 

• Current driver’s licence 
• Current Construction White card 

Having any of the following tickets is beneficial but not essential:

• Operator & VOC Excavator 
• Operator & VOC Dozer 
• Pit, Pipe & Cable Hauling course
• Work safety at heights  
• High Risk Licence 
• Vehicle loading crane
